There have been several meetings recently between Kings Crescent residents and Hackney staff:
ETRA Meeting
The ‘Enhanced Tenants & Residents’ (ETRA) meeting happens quarterly in January, April, July and October and is a regular chance for Kings Crescent residents to discuss estate matters with Hackney. The minutes for the recent meeting on 13 July are now available here.
The next ETRA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 19 October 2022 at 7pm. Any items for the agenda must be emailed to KingsCrescentN4@gmail.com by 10 October 2022 as the agenda is published 1 week in advance
Service Charges Meeting
Kings Crescent residents asked Hackney for a specific meeting for the leaseholders to discuss concerns with Service Charges. This meeting took place on 20 July and the minutes are available here.
Hackney are also offering homeowners the option of booking a 30 minute surgery appointment with Leasehold Services between 25th and 30th July 2022 to discuss any individual service charge queries.

Resident Steering Group Meeting
The residents involved in RSG have applied to be involved in discussing the next phase of regeneration on Kings Crescent and have recieved training from Source Partnership.
This group recently met on 21 July and the minutes will be posted here when they are available. Hackney’s Regeneration Team will also be writing to all residents soon with an update.
Some key highlights to note in the meantime are that there has been further delays to the programme that had been due to start this summer. Hackney are now hoping to have a contractor in place around September this year and the refurbishment of the Southern blocks and building of the new blocks should start around the middle of next year.
Once the contractor is apponted there will be a series of workshops with them for residents to see and comment on details of the regeneration plans.
Upcoming Community Meeting & AGM
The next community focused residents meeting will take place on Wednesday 14th September at 7pm. These meetings happen quarterly in March, June, September and December and provide an opportunity for residents to come together and discuss events and activities we want to see happening on Kings Crescent. We would love to hear your ideas!!
This meeting will also be our ‘Annual General Meeting‘ (AGM) where we need you to vote/elect the next group of residents onto the committee to lead the ‘Tenants & Residents Association (TRA).
Please come along to support the residents who work hard and volunteer their time on the committee to ensure that our voices as residents are heard and organise events and activities for us to to come together as a community.
