Kings Youth (Thursdays 7-9pm)

If you have teenagers kicking about with nothing to do, they are welcome to pop down to Hackney Showroom (Murrain Road) from 7-9pm on Thursdays where they’ll find friendly faces keen to meet them.

From April we’re delivering a series of micro-projects on a range of different topics, a chance for young people to get a taste of different projects to identify what they’d like to do more of.

First up is KINGS YOUTH WRITE & PERFORM – a 4 week mini project where we get you to create and perform your own piece of poetry or theatre, followed by KINGS YOUTH: HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS – a 4 week project of lively debate and discussion about relationships that matter to you (unfortunately the May sessions were cancelled).

In June we’ll be running KINGS YOUTH: TURNTABLE SKILLS – a chance to learn DJ’ing and beat mixing with DMC scratch champion DJ Matman (booking necessary).

Kings Youth is Supported by London Borough of Hackney Reopening Fund.
