Events

Various events are now happening throughout the year such as community parties and trips. These are listed here. In addition to those, Hackney Showoom also run regular activities such as over 60s Friday lunches, Under 5s activities on Wednesday mornings etc. These will be highlighted as news items on this website but see Hackney Showroom’s Website for details. We also list events run by Hackney, local police team etc that may be of interest to residents.

Meetings

  • Community focused meetings happen quarterly in around January, April, July & October bring together the TRA committee, Hackney Showroom and residents to share ideas on activities, events and building community on Kings Crescent.
  • ETRA meetings are where we invite representatives from various Hackney departments to come to discuss housing concerns. 
  • ‘Resident Steering Group‘ meetings happen every few months. Residents have to apply to be in the RSG and it is a chance to meet with Hackney’s Regeneration Team, architects, builders etc to discuss the plans for the next round of new buildings and refurbishment of existing blocks on the South of Kings Crescent Estate
