Update from Hackney Showroom
Hello neighbours, artists, colleagues and those we know and love
Its been quite a year… but we can finally announce that our exciting refurbishment project is now underway! Building works start in June, designed by Lyndon Goode Architects and supported by the Mayor of London and your amazing crowdfunding donations.
We’re now poised to reopen our doors in the summer, with a host of brilliant projects, kicking off with our Futureheads summer camp for 8-11s, and continuing our Hackney Showroom Young Actors course, both supported by the Young Londoners Fund.
We’re delighted to announce funding from LB Hackney to launch new projects: a weekly Lunch Club for over 60s, a volunteering programme and Kings Feast – a series of community meals with bingo and a live show.
We’re also introducing Disco Loco Easy Rollerz, weekly soft play sessions with rejuvenating vibes, and the Disco Loco Library, a space for reading, learning and sharing our vibrant, colourful and diverse collection of kids books.
We love visitors so if you fancy a jaunt to our new space – get in touch…

Getting to Know You!
We can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful community, performance and work space.
In the meantime, we’re currently busy planting roots in our new neighbourhood, working closely in partnership with our amazing friends on the Kings Crescent Tenants & Residents Association and getting to know as many of the residents from the 548 homes on our estate as we can.
