DONATIONS for CLOTHES BANK / CLOTHING for RESIDENTS in LOCAL EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION:
(This initiative is run by St John’s Church and Brownswood Mutual Aid group)
Volunteers say stocks in the Clothes Bank are running very low!
One of the BWMA Volunteers in our ‘Homeless Support’ group, Rose, reports that: “Some people are desperate, as shoes are so worn with holes their feet are unprotected.” Rose adds “Many thanks to everyone for donations they really are appreciated.”
There is a need for ‘absolutely everything’ for men and women in adult sizes.
More Mens clothing that is easy to wash 🧺 and wear would be particularly welcome, plus
Trainers and Shoes in all sizes, from 4 to 12 and Bras, 32 to 42 (sports bras are easier to fit).
Clothes 🥼need to be new or, if 2nd hand laundered and in good condition.
Details on how to donate below – and, as always – Thanks for your help to those who need it most
