Whether you have been living on Kings Crescent for a long time or recently moved in there are a few ways of getting involved.

There is a Residents Group that officially meets every 3 months, but also hoping to have more social catch-ups in between. The next meeting is on Thursday 7th March at 7pm in the Vince Murrain Community Centre. All are welcome to come along.  These meetings are a chance to meet other residents and are attended by someone from Hackney, so any estate issues can be raised there. The group is in the process of forming a committee to help organise social events etc. The AGM and election of the new committee will take place at the next meeting (7th March). If you would like to join the committee please email simon.ware@hackney.gov.uk to make him aware. Otherwise just come along to find out more about what is going on and meet your neighbours!

The Residents Steering Group is a separate meeting that takes place every 6 weeks and focuses on plans for the upcoming redevelopment on the estate. The Steering Group should ideally be attended by a range of individuals representing all of the blocks in the estate. You will have received a letter asking if you to apply if you would like to take part in this group. If you would like to be considered for this group you will have to attend some training, the first of these training sessions is on Thursday 28th February (in Vince Murrain Community Centre).
