Welcome to the new Kings Crescent community website. I hope you find it useful as a tool to find out more about life on Kings Crescent, community events, and design progress regarding the Southside new build and regeneration.

I have lived on Kings Crescent for 6 years and have survived the first round of new builds!! The estate has changed massively in the time I have been here and it has been exciting to see the wave of new and enthusiastic neighbours move in.
I have been attending the steering group meetings fairly regularly for several years and it has taken me a while to figure out who’s who when it comes to Hackney people, counsellors, architects, builders etc! So I wanted to make this central hub to help other residents find their feet and get involved if they want to, get help if they need it, or just know what is going on. Fortunately my husband knows a bit or two about computers so kindly agreed to help me build this site! Grateful thanks also to Carol from Source Partnership for contributing text and photos.
