Kings Crescent Street Party

Hackney Showroom are hosting a Street Party on the Play Street

with live bands and DJs, soft play outside, food stalls,

a bar, dancing and loads of fun!

Neighbours, loved ones and friends, the time to get out and celebrate is here. And we are bringing the party right to your doorstep!

Join your neighbours for a day full of music with DJs and live acts TALIABLE, MARIA UZOR and NOON GARDEN.

We have Caribbean food courtesy of BICKLES OF BRIXTON, ice cream, a bar and all round good vibes.

This event is FREE and is for Kings Crescent residents and surrounding neighbours.

Simply register for yourself and/or your household to let us know you’re coming

The TRA will be hosing a jumble sale during the party(12-3pm)

with all proceeds going to a local food bank & soup kitchen (St JohnsN4)

      Please help with:

• Donations of books, home items, kids clothing, toys etc (to sell at the jumble sale)
• Clothing & food (to donate directly to St Johns food bank and clothing bank – see details below)
• Cakes to be judged ‘bake off’ style at 12.30pm then sold. Prizes will be given to the adult and child winners!
• Volunteers to help at the event

The TRA committee will be around on the day to answer questions and let you know how to get involved.

Non-Perishable Foods:

• UHT/ Long Life Milk
• Fruit juice
• Breakfast Cereal
• Soup
• Rice
• Pasta   /    Instant noodles   /   Spaghetti hoops
• Tinned Tomatoes   /   Tinned Vegetables
• Pasta / Curry sauces
• Lentils, beans, and peas (pulses)
• Tinned Meat   /   Tinned Fish
• Tinned Fruit  /  Custard   /   Rice Pudding
• Peanut Butter
• Honey/ Jam
• Biscuits
• Tea   /   Instant Coffee

Those and their families turning to the Food Bank for help would also appreciate the following

Non-food items:  🧻🧼🧴

• Toiletries – deodorant, shower gel, shaving gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand wipes
• Sanitary products – sanitary towels/tampons (urgently needed at the moment!!)
• Household items – toilet paper, washing up liquid, laundry powder/ tabs

Plus, Pet Food: For cats & dogs

Plus, any clean Carrier Bags are always gratefully received.

Any of this along with clothing donations for the clothing bank can be collected at the Jumble Sale. Clothes need to be washed and in good condition (adult clothes only please but any childrens items can be sold at the jumble sale)
